If you’ve ever used Tide laundry detergent products, then you know how great the stuff is for removing stains and providing clothing with a thorough, great-smelling cleansing. So it makes sense that Tide would take things a step further, and offer the option to take Tide’s awesome cleaning and stain removing powers to go, via the Tide To Go Stain Eraser.
The Tide To Go Stain Eraser is a handheld scrubbing pad that is comprised of a microfiber cleaning pad with two special “wings” on either side — within these “wings” is Tide’s cleaning/stain removing solution. Simply snap the wings up so that they’re together and thus make a small handle to grasp, squeeze to push the cleaning/stain removing solution down into the pad (you’ll see it bubbling out), then apply the microfiber cleaning pad portion of the Stain Eraser to whatever stain you’ve had the misfortune to acquire on your clothing.
I’ve used the Tide To Go Stain Erasers on several stains that happened while I was out and thus nowhere near my washer and dryer, or even hot water and dish soap (perfect for tackling stains before you launder your clothing). Stains that the Tide To Go Stain Erasers lifted and removed with minimal effort and just a few seconds of scrubbing include: pink cake icing, tomato sauce, hamburger grease, and most recently, ketchup. Color-tinted foods, tomato-based products and oil are all notoriously difficult to remove, especially if you’ve waited any length of time between when the stain first occurred and when you tackle it.
The results? Every stain that’s occurred was easily removed with the Tide Stain To Go Eraser. Just remove it from the packaging, snap the wings together to create a handle, squeeze to push the cleaning/stain removing solution down into the microfiber cleaning pad, then scrub the stain away.
You can purchase Tide To Go Stain Erasers in packs of 1, 4, and 16. They’re small enough to stash in purses, pockets, and small compartments; so consider getting the 16-pack and stash them wherever you might need them while on the go!
Disclosure: Tide provided me with free products in exchange for my honest opinion.
